SH Sports Ltd was founded by Sadiq Hassan who grew up playing cricket on the streets of Guyana and was given the opportunity to move to the UK to progress his cricketing career in 2005. 

After moving to the UK, he played for Bromley Cricket Club in Kent who also invested in him to become a cricket coach due to his passion for the game. He also went on to play in the Nottinghamshire Premier league for the West Indian cavaliers where he won both the league and ECB National Cup in 2013. 

In 2011 was trusted to be the Head Coach by Bromley Area Cricket (formerly Bromley District Cricket) despite being the youngest coach on their portfolio at the time. During his time there, Sadiq coached the Bromley Area Cricket boys who went on to win the London youth games. 

In 2015, he was awarded the ECB Kent Young Coach of the Year for his work in clubs and schools in the region. 

In 2013, he became the Director of Coaching for HSBC Cricket Club within two years at the club the three senior teams won their leagues and gained promotion. 

He also took over the junior section for the club, which was almost non existent at the time, and developed it into a thriving environment which now has over 100+ children with teams from U9s to U15s level playing. This is easily his proudest achievement and would like to continue building on it. 

Having coached many kids over the years and lost many great talents due to financial barriers, Sadiq decided to start SH Sports Ltd to give children in underprivileged communities, schools and clubs the opportunity to partake but also continue developing in sports.

SH Sports works in partnership with many local coaches, who are all fully qualified, who share the same passion in development of young talent at the grassroot level.
